Time Up...

People of India are again on the streets, its the same reason, same cause, the same figure taking initiative for the cause. The cause which has ruined India since at least last five decades. The government tried to play the same old trick when they realized that people are supporting Mr.Anna Hazare in every way they can support. Government thinking that people of India are having the problem of "short term memory loss" will save them as the time will pass. But this time for their much surprise the people have overcome this problem and now we can see the helpless government and helpless leaders of the ruling party making irresponsible statements. Many of them have started accusing Mr. Anna Hazare of blame game, saying that Mr. Anna Hazare can not challenge the Indian Parliament, its not Mr. Anna's job to dictate the laws and policies. Yes, I agree Indian Parliament is the supreme institution when it comes to the making the laws and policies, but have our leader ever tried to maintain the sacredness of the Indian Parliament. Our Parliament is the representation of the pride, trust and dreams of our people. Have these leader ever cared about these feelings? People of India had given them long enough time to solve their problems, to make their life better, to fulfill their dreams, a period of 60 years was the waiting period and the growing support to Mr. Anna Hazare shows that people are now not willing to trust our leaders, they want the results and not the fake promises, they want the development and not the low level politics of communal hatred, they want their dreams coming true and not the just the mere hopes of better future. Our leaders just cashed the popularity on the slogans like "Garibi Hatav"(remove the poverty),"Feel good factor", they told us that we will be a super power in upcoming decade but they ignored some ground  realities or they wanted to ignore these realities intentionally. We are talking about the silicon revolution and most of us can't get the electricity for twelve hours a day, most of  us don't have access to the clean drinking water, better roads, medical facilities. Our leaders knows these facts but it's their ego which is not allowing them to admit their blunders. The problem is most of them are corrupt hence the new 'Jan Lokpal Bill' will take away their right to corruption and people now are well aware of it. Almost everyone of us is the victims of corruption because we need to go to various government offices, we need to drive our vehicles on the roads, we need to buy our homes to live in, we need to get our provident fund when we get retired, sometime we get desperate to get our work done so we give bribes and then it becomes a system. I agree everyone of us have given a bribe for some reason at some point but have you ever thought why we give the bribe? Its because the system forces us to do so or else we won't get anything on time, we won't get our driving licenses, we won' t get our gas connections, we won't get our ration cards, we won't get our provident fund even if we are eligible to receive. People are scared to go and complain against the corrupt officers, leaders because they can't trust even the person to whom they are registering their complaints. People believe that, officers of anti corruption department are equally corrupt and they don't want to be in a mess at the end and become a victim of their chain system. Government should now realize that their old tricks to fool the people are not going to work anymore, they should accept the 'Jan Lokpal' bill and should free the people of India from the evils of corruption, if they don't do it they won't be occupying the chairs. Their time is up now....

Exploring Pondicherry-III

We were sitting on the beautiful beach of Pondicherry at night, I was thinking about my future and it was difficult for me to even think that I will have to choose something other than my dream of flying high for my bread and butter. I had come to Pondicherry in search of solution and what I came to know was my problem doesn’t have any solution. I did not talk to Rushikesh for a long time. Then finally he got up and went to Cyber café. I was alone in my thoughts and suddenly somebody patted on my shoulder, I looked back, it was Rajashree standing with one other lady. “So you are still lost in the sadness, we were going for a dinner and I saw you from the street”, Said Rajashree. She introduced other lady with me. Her name was Aruna, of medium height, fair and smart. “So do you like Pondicherry?”  asked Aruna. “Yes, off course and today we have hired bicycles to see the Pondicherry and nearby places.” I answered. “Good so where are you going tomorrow?” Aruna asked me with curiosity,...

My days in Japan : II

On our journey to Mumbai international airport we found out that my and one of my colleague who initially missed our van had a ticket of same airline but the guy who boarded the van at the end was having a ticket of different airline. He became nervous as he was going to travel entire journey from Mumbai to Tokyo all alone and for the first time.     We reached Mumbai international airport six in the evening. After getting inside we immediately checked in our luggage to avoid extra burden. I sat on a bench, thinking of how to spend time. I wondered, for a last whole week, I was in need of some spare time for relaxation and I could not afford it but now I was having a plenty of time to spend and I was getting bored I was not feeling like to take a rest.    Three of us were wearing suit, neck tie, in a perfect formal attire, I was feeling like we are part of some high profile delegation and are visiting Japan to attend some important co...

My days in Japan: IV

One of my room partner woke me up in a few minutes and told me to get ready. I resisted in sharp voice, "do you go to the office at 4 in the morning"?. "No", my friend replied. "Please have a look at your wrist watch, if at all it is set according to Japan Standard Time". I looked into my watch, it was 7:15 in the morning, so I was sleeping for whole four hours and I was feeling like I had just reached the apartment few minutes ago from my journey all the way from Mumbai. Still in a voice of protest I said, "but its just 4 hours I was sleeping, don't you think it is unfair, especially when somebody is exhausted by a journey of  16 hours". My friend smiled and replied,"It is a Japan my friend, sleeping more than 4-5 hours is considered as a sin here, you have already completed your quota, now don't waste time and get ready quickly". Two of my friends were going to drop me at the Shibuya station on the Yamanote line and one o...
